Integral to our total solution approach, TDI serves as Project Manager for the implementation of selected solutions that would include project oversight, inspection and support services to assist the client to ensure complete and proper implementation of proposed systems. TDI performs reviews and evaluations of proposed system components and vendor implementation plans. Project management tasks include:
- Monitoring the implementation and installation of systems
- Evaluating system performance against the system acceptance tests
- Assisting client staff in maintaining the project schedule
- Providing status reports on a periodic basis as directed by client staff throughout the entire implementation and installation process
The goal of project management is to assure that systems and/or services are implemented properly, on-time and within budget. This means planning, organizing and tracking a projects tasks and identifying and scheduling resources to accomplish those tasks. TDI assures that scope, schedule and resources have been properly balanced to meet assigned project deadlines. To accomplish the Project Management requirements of the client, TDI uses the following methodology.
As guidelines and/or specifications are developed for the systems identified in the Statement of Work, TDI requires vendors to provide proposed implementation plans in their bid responses. These plans are required to include the following as a minimum:
